London Councils x Birmingham: Building the Capacity we need to deliver Retrofit at the City Scale

London and Birmingham unite to share their progress on their respective Housing Retrofit Programmes. Starting with a presentation of the level of investment needed in the UK’s two largest urban areas panellists will ask the following questions:

Why are cities the best place for the retrofit programmes to take off?
How do we build capacity in the supply chain?
What are the skills gaps and how can they be filled?
How can cities work together to influence central government policy and private sector activity?
