Rebecca Lydon
Rebecca leads Hydrock's ground-breaking, evidence-based work that helps organisations understand their long-term physical and transitional risks from climate change.
She led the climate adaptation studies conducted for the University of Nottingham across 2022-23 which made first use of the UKGBC's Physical Risks framework. In more recent times she has led teams working on climate vulnerability and adaptation studies for organisations that include developers, energy providers, and NHS Trusts.
Rebecca is an approved assessor for Building with Nature, and is part of Hydrock's team supporting UKGBC with their Resilience and Nature Programme.
Specialising in sustainable masterplanning, Rebecca is a regular commentator on planning policy and nature-based solutions. She leads Hydrock's work with developers and property consultants on major schemes for mixed-use residential, logistics and industrial developments.
