Pippa has over 10 years of experience working in the university spinout ecosystem as a researcher, founder, investor and board member. Pippa currently leads on climate investments within L&G's Venture Capital team, having held roles in investment strategy and portfolio management for L&G's Clean Energy & Climate thematic. Prior to L&G, Pippa spent 9 years at the University of Cambridge commercialising industrial decarbonisation research where she founded three successful university spinouts including the cement recycling business ReClinker (formally known as Cambridge Electric Cement) and Structural PANDA an early-stage structural optimisation software business. Pippa has a Masters Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and a PhD in Sustainable Engineering Science (Automotive Manufacturing) also from the University of Cambridge.​
