Philip is Director and Head of Design at HLM Architects. An award-winning architect and Fellow of the RIBA, he has a broad range of experience and expertise with a particularly strong focus on the education sector. He leads HLM’s R&D team and is currently focused on the topics of MMC, digital design, social value, and environmental sustainability. He was part of the team that developed the Circular Twin research that won the AJ100 Sustainability Initiative of the Year in 2022. He has taught at a number of schools of architecture and is Visiting Professor at the University of Leeds.
