As an internationally experienced technical leader in property development and construction, Mario is acknowledged for his expertise in both Modern Methods of Construction and the application of innovative materials in construction.

He has a track record at Lendlease in delivering innovative, technically sound and risk managed solutions for buildings that create social, environmental and economic value.

At COP26 in Glasgow, Mario spoke on a panel debate on greening buildings and construction. With his technical knowledge, research and innovation experience, Mario led the debate about the global adoption of innovative low carbon technologies, including engineered timber, as the type of clean construction and ‘smart-climate’ solutions that will foster sustainability and development to combat climate change.
