
Darcy Arnold-Jones
Darcy is an Architect at MBA, with experience in the education, commercial and cultural sectors. She also heads up their Circularity Consultancy services, being MBA’s Circular Economy Lead and co-founder of MBA’s Climate Action Group. With a keen interest and commitment to regenerative design, she currently leads the carbon and reuse research for the practice, undertaking WLC assessments and audits of their projects. Working on the donor building – a workplace refurbishment - and orchestrating the reuse of materials, she continues to advance circularity within the practice; developing a host-donor building methodology. In collaboration with demolition contractors and industry specialists, she is actively lobbying for a shift in practice towards urban mining; developing a Reuse in Reality Pocketbook, undergoing industry research into second-hand material stores and part of industry material working groups such as glass partitions. She is a member of the Circular Do-Tank and ACAN.
