Roundtable: the relationship between net zero and placemaking with Stride Treglown

Join us for a breakfast roundtable at which we’ll consider the relationship between net zero and modern placemaking as part of our national series of events, A Place at the Table.

A chaired discussion will discuss how the move to increasing sustainability of the built environment can make a positive impact on the communities in which developments are sited. The questions we’ll ask you to tackle are:

• How do we deliver a resilient and equitable transition to a sustainable future using supply chains to support development at a local level?
• What barriers exist to using local supply chains and natural materials for sustainable development? How can we overcome these?
• How do we find the best way to ensure that projects are sustainable in the broadest sense, balancing economic success, community benefit and environmental enhancement? 

Capacity will be limited to 16 to encourage a lively, candid and cooperative conversation.
