We identified an average #reuse rate of 13% for the projects we've worked on this year. If that could be applied to the total UK construction and demolition waste arisings, we would save more than 8.6 million tonnes of material, enough to build more than 143,000 homes! The construction and property sectors need to start doing 'more with less' making use of the material banks and 'urban mines' that are in the buildings we are currently using.
