As Head of Net Zero, John is developing and leading Get Living’s decarbonisation strategy.

Drawing on energy consumption data John, is developing CRREM-aligned decarbonisation pathways for Get Living’s portfolio of 4000+ homes. Planned decarbonisation works include optimisation and electrification of district heating networks, lighting refurbishment works, installing new renewables and electric vehicle charging points, and the co-ordination of development, re-financing and long-term asset replacement strategies.

Since joining Get Living as a design manager in 2018, John has supported the delivery of new homes and neighbourhoods in East Village (the former London 2012 Athletes' Village), Lewisham Gateway and New Maker Yards, Greater Manchester.

Prior to joining Get Living, John acted as project architect on the delivery of PRS homes for great estates clients in Chelsea and Marylebone, as well as commercial office space in London's Covent Garden.
