Chris Bowie-Hill
Chris is a dynamic innovator. Working with public and private sector clients, he shapes sustainable, future-proofed estate portfolios and masterplan developments.
The narrative around socioeconomic sustainability and human-first engineering design is one Chris has promoted across the built environment.
Chris leads Hydrock’s approach to ‘digital estates’, bringing simplicity and clarity to the multitude of challenges facing estate directors, most notably in higher education and healthcare. It’s an approach that layers data on the risks and challenges facing an estate and identifies how and where to prioritise capital expenditure.
Chris edited ‘A Vision for the 2020’s’, Hydrock’s ground-breaking assessment of the ideas and innovations that will shape the journey to more sustainable ways of living in this decade. He has also led research into both the future of the high street and how the ‘design thinking model’ can unlock sites for future sustainable communities.
